Hello Dancers, We're also gearing up for the Scottish Swing Dance championships on Saturday March 13. There aren't many lindy hop competitions in the UK, so this is a great opportunity to work on your dancing and get some competition experience. There are 4 competitions so something for everyone, no matter how long you've been dancing or whether you have a partner or not. We have regular dates locked in for Blues dancing on a Sunday in Aberdeen at O'Neills in Aberdeen with Craig Thomson plus guests, Ben and Helen Birns. details below. Finally, for anyone who has been looking to buy Aris Allan dance shoes but doesn't want to purchase over the net, we've got a dancer coming to Edinburgh and Glasgow who is a re-seller and you can try before you buy. Blue Sunday monthly in Edinburgh The first Sunday of the month has just become Blue Sunday in Edinburgh. We'll be running general level class in different aspects of blues and fusion every month from 7pm, followed by dancing from 8pm till late. Classes £6/5 conc. Livingston Swing Dancing starts this Wednesday We're very excited to be starting swing dancing in Livingston this Wednesday February 24. We'd love for our Edinburgh swing dancers to come and support us as we'll have social dancing after the class. If you receive this e-mail, give us the code word 'Swing Storm' and you can come to the Livingston class for free!! The venue is right next to Livingston North train station. This will be a chance to try before you buy dance shoes without having to order over the net and cross your fingers that they fit. She's only going to carry a limited amount of stock, so if you're interested in buying shoes or clothes please e-mail Rowena and she'll make a time to meet up with you when she's in town so you can try her stock.
